Is NEET compulsory for BSc Nursing 2025?

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which operates under the Union Ministry of Education, conducts this exam every year. While the ‘NEET-UG‘ exam is conducted for undergraduate medical courses and the ‘NEET-PG’ exam is conducted for postgraduate medical courses, you can now apply to write the ‘NEET – UG’ exam.
Courses: MBBS,- BDS,- BAMS, – BSMS, – PU MS, – PHMS,- PVSC and BSc, Nursing Educational Institutions: Any educational institution in India, including AIIMS and JIPMER, offers admission to medical courses on the basis of the NEET exam.
Examination Pattern: There will be a total of 180 questions, including 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology, Botany and Zoology. All the questions will be in the ‘multiple choice’ format.
Marking Details: This examination is conducted for a maximum of 720 marks, with four marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Question Paper: The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi and other languages.
Examination Time: 2:00 PM-5:00 PM: Total 180 minutes
