Who is eligible for MAT exam?

Introduction: This exam has been conducted since 1988. The Indian Ministry of Education recognized the ‘MATE’ exam as a national level exam in 2003. The exam is now an entrance exam with streamlined syllabus, updated syllabus and a shortened exam period.

MATE, the largest aptitude test in the country, is recognized by 600 B-schools across India.

Educational Qualification: Must have completed any undergraduate degree. Students who are currently studying in their final year can also apply.

Exam Pattern: It is conducted in paper-based written test, computer-based test and a combination of both.

The exam consists of five sections namely Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, and Economic and Business Environment. A total of 150 questions are asked, with 30 questions per section. 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

Exam Time: 120 minutes Exam Fee: Rs. 2,100 or Rs. 3,600 depending on the exam mode chosen
